2017 WAS A YEAR OF GROWTH FOR PARACHUTE MEDIA

From new employees, clients, and office space to award-winning work, this past year was filled with exciting milestones, and perhaps a few rounds of tacos and beer.

NEW FACES ON THE TEAM

Throughout the year, our team grew to add talented individuals to our agency, each bringing a unique skillset to aid in client work. Richard Meyer, Adam Fricke, and Elise Kelly joined our social media team. Whitney Thomas brought her graphic design skills to our creative team, while Alison Ross (now Hall!) and Matt McNeese brought years of agency experience to enhance our digital advertising and analytics services. Our agency also expanded to a second office space a few miles away to house our creative team (but no worries, East Nashville is still home!)

AWARD WINNING WORK

With our first major year of extensive client work under our belts, our team submitted our favorite creative pieces to be considered in the 2017 Nashville ADDYs. We were ecstatic to learn that 5 of our submissions received recognition, 2 of which took home a Gold ADDY.

A few months later, our team received an OMMA for a UMG Nashville artist Josh Turner’s social media campaign, promoting his album launch.

Between her exquisite client work and in-office management, the board awarded her the title of Best Support.

AGENCY GROWTH

In addition to our team and awards shelf growing, so did our client roster. One new client was Evolve Pet Food, who joined the team earlier this year. We’ve enjoyed expanding their social media presence (and having an excuse to play with dogs for additional content creation). Two current clients, Merrell and Edley’s Bar-B-Que, saw exponential growth in 2017.

At the start of the year, our agency became the primary ad buyer for Merrell. The company then launched Merrell Work in February, a specialty line of footwear for those who work in industries such as construction, utility work, and the national park system. Our team aided in this release by launching the brand’s social media presence, which included original content creation and video work.

Edley’s Bar-B-Que expanded to new markets in Lexington, Kentucky and Chattanooga, as well as creating a new concept, Pancho & Lefty’s, located in the heart of Broadway. In addition to implementing social media campaigns to build brand awareness in their respective markets, we also developed the website for Pancho & Lefty’s and redesigned the Edley’s site.
