Becca’s curious and creative energy makes her a perfect fit as an intern at Parachute Media!
Bearing a love for dogs, problem-solving and making engaging content, Becca has already marked herself as an innovator. As a result of growing up in New York near a wonder of the world, she has built up a level of curiosity that shines bright at Parachute Media!
Becca spends most of her time traveling, playing with her dogs or scrolling through TikTok. When she isn’t doing these things, she’s putting her data-driven thinking and creativity to work at Parachute Media. Before joining our team, Becca completed various internships while staying active on her school’s campus, Villanova. Read on to learn more about our new intern!
What is a fun fact about you? (Of course, Becca is so fun that she has FOUR fun facts.)
I live 30 minutes away from a natural wonder of the world – Niagara Falls. Whenever someone comes from out of town, we have to take them to the falls!
I’ve been to more than 15 countries. My family has always loved traveling, and I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to go with them!
I’m a dog walker for Wag in my free time! I’ve always loved dogs, and being a Wag walker gives me a chance to see dogs while I’m away at school.
I’ve flown a plane. My dad is a pilot and encouraged me to try it out. I never went on to get my full license, but I did a few trial flights!
In your work or creative process, what do you love creating the most?
I love creative problem-solving. Whether it’s coming up with a caption to a post or developing a strategy to target a specific audience, I love developing different ways to solve problems.
Who is one of your professional heroes and why?
My mom! Ever since I was young, she’s done everything in marketing – from graphic design to photography to event planning and more.
Do you have a personal mission statement?
I try to live by the golden rule: treat others the way you want to be treated.
What is your grand, audacious goal?
I really want to love what I do and love going to work. I think being happy with what you do not only makes it easier to work every day, but makes you better at your job.
When you’re not at work, where will we find you and what will you be doing?
I’m usually at home playing with my dogs or scrolling through Tik Tok!
What’s the strategy behind your blog writing process?
I usually try to write content that I would find engaging or interesting. I like to use current trends and memes to help me write captions – I think TikTok audio lyrics can make for great captions!
What sparked your interest in digital marketing?
I love that digital marketing is a combination of data and creativity. With digital marketing, you can use data and analytics to drive your creative process to ensure that what you’re doing will be effective.
If you could Skype with anyone living or dead, who would it be?
There’s probably a better answer to this question but Steve Carell. I’m a huge fan of The Office, and I would love to hear his thoughts on the show and how it helped his career.
