What is something quirky about you?

I like to joke around that I have “grandma hobbies” because I take care of plants, read a lot, and do a lot of crafting.

In your work or creative process, what do you love creating the most?

My favorite creative thing to do is to write copy. It’s so much fun to get into a brand’s voice and once that writing flow hits, there’s nothing that can top it.

Who is one of your professional heroes and why?

Anna Wintour! I love fashion and Vogue, but her leadership style and fierceness as a woman in business is incredible.

What is your favorite quote?

This is super cheesy, but “everything happens for a reason.” I truly believe that everything works out exactly as it’s meant to, and when you have a positive mindset about things, there’s nothing that isn’t meant for you that won’t come.

What is your grand, audacious goal?

I would love to write a bestselling book one day! Watch out New York Times Bestsellers list because here I come.

When you’re not at work, where will we find you and what will you be doing?

Most days you can find me at home, reading a book in my living room or porch if the weather is nice. And if I’m not home, I’m probably out shopping for clothes, books, or plants.

What sparked your interest in digital marketing?

I studied journalism in college (Roll Tide!!), but soon realized I was much more interested in the social media side of communication rather than writing articles and reporting. Social media is so interesting and it’s a forever growing platform, so it’s fun to be a part of something that is ever evolving.

If you could Skype with anyone living or dead, who would it be?

I would love to Skype with Taylor Swift. Not only is she an amazing artist and writer, but her heart is so kind. I’d love to talk to her about her writing strategy for folklore and evermore in particular because those albums had a huge impact on my 2020.
