Ria is a dog-lover, wine tasting enthusiast, and digital marketing specialist! She brings a positive attitude and can-do spirit to everything she does. Before joining Parachute, Ria spent years offering innovative and strategic marketing services to her clients. With her ambitious personality and expertise in the field, she is already an integral part of our team!
What is something quirky about you?
I have gone hunting with my dad since I was 11 years old! I still hunt with him to this day.
What sparked your interest in digital marketing?
Digital marketing is everywhere and it is the future. My favorite thing about digital marketing is that there’s always something new to learn and appreciate.
When you’re not at work, where will we find you and what will you be doing?
You can find me at home with my dog, Lady, or out and about with my friends. I also love going wine tasting!
What is your grand, audacious goal?
My professional goal is to be a director or even a vice president of a company later down the road. My personal goal is to be a wife and a mom. I would also like to write a book someday and live in another country!
Who is one of your professional heroes and why?
Seth Godin. His book All Marketers Tell Stories is informational to those in marketing. His leadership skills and down-to-earth personality are inspiring.
What is your favorite quote?
My favorite quote I like to live by is a Bible verse from the book of Lamentations 3:22-23, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” It’s my favorite because it reminds us that each day brings a new, clean slate to begin with and we are forgiven from the day before so that we are able to begin again.
If you could Skype with anyone living or dead, who would it be?
I would love to skype with my grandpa Bill who passed away 15 years ago. He served in the Korean War and I would love to hear his stories.
